Keith Scharwath

keith.scharwath@gmail.com

I’m a designer, art director and visual artist with 20+ years of experience in the creative industries. I started my career in New York City, first working for VH-1 and MTV before moving to LA where I helped create campaigns at Ogilvy & Mather, Media Arts Lab & 180LA.

After more than a few long nights in advertising, I went freelance. I made space for my personal art and also worked directly for Aaron Rose, Nike, GOOD Magazine, The New York Times and others.

In 2011, I founded a design studio called Outpost with Atley Kasky. We helped startups like Ring, Aclima and The Black Tux find their look and voice. Eventually Outpost was hired full time by The Black Tux and I held down the fort there as Design/Creative Director from 2014-2018.

I’m originally from New Jersey, I hold a BFA from School of Visual Arts and I currently live on the fringes of Downtown of Los Angeles.
