Keith Scharwath is a Los Angeles-based graphic designer, creative consultant and sign painter.
Previously, Keith was creative director for The Black Tux and a founding partner of the Los Angeles design studio Outpost. Prior to that, he spent a decade working as a designer and art director for creative shops 180LA, Media Arts Lab, Ogilvy & Mather, and GOOD. He’s taught typography and hand-lettering at CalArts, and at one point left the workforce to study sign painting at LA Trade Tech.
Originally from New Jersey, Keith holds a BFA from School of Visual Arts in NY. He lives in the Historic Filipinotown neighborhood of Los Angeles with his wife Alissa, daughter Avery, and son Oscar.
